After undergraduate study from the University of North Texas and earning my real estate sales license in 1978, I began my career as a primary salesman for a home builder in Mesquite, Texas. My growing interest in real estate soon shifted toward appraisal, leading me to pursue further education and opportunities in this field. In 1983, I joined the Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD) as a field appraiser, where I was responsible for determining residential real estate values. My dedication and expertise quickly earned me a promotion to Residential Supervisor of Appraisal, a role I held until 1988.

In 1988, I transitioned to a Dallas-based property tax consulting company as their senior commercial real estate consultant. By 1990, I became a licensed Texas Senior Property Tax Consultant, establishing one of the longest-standing licenses in the state. My work extended beyond Texas, as I successfully appealed commercial real estate valuations in several other states, including Colorado, Washington, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Louisiana.

In 1993, driven by a commitment to integrity and excellence, I founded Triad Ad Valorem Group, LLC. For over 30 years, I’ve focused exclusively on helping Texas businesses, particularly those with inventory and fixed assets, reduce their property tax liabilities. With the 2025 tax year marking my 42nd year in the industry, I’ve had the privilege of saving millions in tax dollars for hundreds of companies, building long-term relationships along the way.
